    * Tuesday meeting due to Monday holiday Generally, Study Sessions are held on the first and third Monday of each month at 7 pm in the City Council Chambers at City Hall. Study Sessions are an opportunity for the City Council to study a particular topic in-depth. No formal action may be taken at a Study Session, but general direction is provided.

    Each month, on the third Friday, the Liberty Silver Center hosts a Happy Birthday lunch for everyone celebrating a birthday during that calendar month. The Country Hoe Down Band will be the live performance. Please register by noon the Friday prior. When you register, let us know if you are a birthday honoree.

  3. Competitive Swim Team Maintenance & Conditioning Session I Starts

    February 22, 5:00 PM - 6:00 PM @ Liberty Community Center

    This pre-season swim team conditioning & maintenance program places a heavy emphasis on strength training, building distance, and maximizing the least amount of water resistance. Minimum age of 11 recommended.

  4. Competitive Swim Team Maintenance & Conditioning Session II Starts

    This pre-season swim team conditioning & maintenance program places a heavy emphasis on strength training, building distance, and maximizing the least amount of water resistance.

  6. Silver Center Leisure Lunchers

    Join the leisure lunchers on the last Wednesday of each month for lunch at a restaurant around town for fun and fellowship. Meet at the restaurant and come hungry. Let us know if you plan to attend so we can request a table to accommodate everyone in the group.

  9. Kids Mini Triathlon Aquatic Prep Session II Begins

    This program is designed for youth who are planning on participating in upcoming Triathlons in 2016. Participants are taught strength training drills, endurance building, and stroke refinement. Free style swim exercises will include proper stroke technique, the development of “sighting” for open water, sprints for speed, and recovery strokes such as breaststroke and backstroke when rest is required.
