Through this partnership, Alliance FC will provide a dedicated staff member to coordinate the program and provide game day supervision. The northland soccer club also will provide training and practice planning to the program’s volunteer coaches, who have served as the backbone for Liberty Parks & Rec soccer.
Kids in the U4-U6 Junior Soccer program will gain a solid foundation with help from Alliance FC and Liberty Parks & Rec trainers. Coaches will use fun games to entertain and engage players while also helping them to develop basic soccer skills. The Itty Bitty U4 and the Bitty U5 Juniors program will meet for 6 weeks on Saturdays at Fountain Bluff Sports Complex for 30-minute skills training sessions followed by 30-minute 3 vs. 3 games. U6 Juniors will follow a similar format for 8 weeks with skills training sessions and games on Saturdays at Fountain Bluff.
Girls and boys in the U6-U14 Youth Recreational League will provide opportunities for players to build their soccer skills and knowledge in a relaxed learning environment. In this 8-week program, practices will be held on weekday evenings with games on Saturdays at Fountain Bluff Sports Complex. Game format is dependent on age group, beginning with 3v3 games with four 12-minute quarters for the U6 Division and culminating with 11v11 games with two 35-minute halves for the U13 and U14 divisions.
