Senior Services:

Silver Center: The Liberty Silver Center, located in the Liberty Community Center, is a place where older adults (60+) come to socialize, participate in activities and special events, and enjoy a hot nutritious meal.

Liberty Access Bus: Offering transportation for adults 60 and older to doctor appointments, the grocery store, pharmacy and Silver Center to those within the city limits of Liberty free of charge. Physically challenged individuals (ages 18-59) who do not have access to their own transportation may also utilize Liberty Access for a nominal fee.

Meals on Wheels: Liberty Meals on Wheels delivers much more than just a meal to its recipients. At the core of our service is a nutritious meal, friendly visit and safety check for seniors living within the city limits of Liberty. Meals are delivered by our amazing group of permanent and substitute volunteer drivers who donate their lunch break to help recipients in need.

Senior Programs:

AARP Safe Driving Class: Keep your driving skills sharp and lower your insurance rate at the same time with the AARP Driver Safety Course.

  • No tests given, no driving required and no AARP membership card required.
  • Fees are $15 for AARP members and $20 for non AARP members.

Matter of Balance: Many older adults experience a fear of falling. People who develop this fear often limit their activities, which can result in physical weakness, making the risk of falling even greater. Matter of Balance is a program designed to reduce the fear of falling and increase activity levels among older adults ages 50 and better.
