Hot nutritious meals are delivered Monday-Friday to individuals within the city limits of Liberty who have difficulties with meal preparation.
Meals are delivered to the individual's homes by volunteers. Frequently the volunteer may be the only person the recipient sees all day, providing human contact and a safety net, particularly for those living alone.
Ways to Help
Deliver Nutritious Meals
Meals are delivered Monday-Friday by volunteers. Meal delivery begins at 11:15 a.m. and takes approximately 30-45 minutes. There are no more than 6 stops on a route. Volunteers are asked to volunteer as a driver one day a week for at least one month. Substitute drivers are also needed. Subs will be called on when the regularly scheduled driver is unavailable and typically volunteers one day a month. Become a Meals on Wheels volunteer today »
